Annual General Meeting
2022 NOMINATIONS
Members are invited to nominate interested members for election to the Board of Directors, Credit Committee and Supervisory Committee of the Lifetime Co-operative Credit Union at its 32nd Annual General Meeting.
Please note that By-Law 40 (2) requires that a member may be elected to serve on the Board or Committees only if he/she is:
- 18 years or over
- A citizen or resident of Barbados
- Been a member for at least one year
- Is in good financial standing
We are guided by the provisions of the Co-operative Societies Act (Sections 52 and 53), the Co-operative Societies Regulation No. 13 and any directives of the Financial Services Commission (FSC). These provisions and directives require that any member who is nominated must confirm acceptance of the nomination and attain the ‘Fit and Proper’ conditions for election. The fit and proper conditions necessitate the following:
- A completed FSC Individual Questionnaire
- A Certificate of Character from the Barbados Police Force
- A certified copy of the passport picture page
- A résumé
The FSC Individual Questionnaire and 2022 Nomination forms are available for download on this page or from any Credit Union office. Nominations must be proposed by two members in good standing.
If you wish to nominate a member for election to the Board of Directors, Supervisory Committee, or Credit Committee, kindly complete and submit a Nomination Form. Completed forms and required documents may be submitted, no later than 27-May-2022, to any Credit Union office or via email to nominations@lifetimecu.com.
Please note that in accordance with the directives received, nominations will no longer be permitted from the floor of General Meetings.
